There are children all over the world who do not have the chance to do the things you get to do every day. Some children don’t even get the chance to go to school, eat one meal a day, or play with toys. Other children may not have parents to care for them. These children are called orphans. Thanks to people who have compassion, the same children are now living in a safe home and have many people who care about them.
Three ways you can get involved in ClubHALO:
1) Enter the ClubHALO Essay Contest:
Be a part of ClubHALO by writing an essay answering the question, "Why it is important to help others?" In your essay, give an example of how you have done so.
2) Enter the ClubHALO Art Contest:
Create a piece of art expressing something that you are grateful for. Any medium is acceptable.
3) Host your own FUNdraiser:
Many ClubHALO members have made a difference by hosting their own fund raisers for the children in the orphanages.
From hot chocolate stands, to talent shows, to a race for HALO, ClubHALO members come up with great ideas to raise funds.
